HIking the Split Rock Trail

A easy 2 mile hike that leads off to the left of split rock, across the valley to the marker, then left, follow the trail which loops around the valley, through rock formations and back to the parking lot. There's a nice variety of vegetation, lots of great views and good spots for lunch.

Hiking The Lost Palms Trail

Spring is just beginning to show along the trail, small flowers are peeking out. Once it warms up, there should be some nice displays as you walk. There's usually a great variety of flowers in a good year. This is one of the best hikes in the park, although it does 'whup' me every time I do it.
